Becoming a Chartered
Trainer and Assessor for the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development
(CIPD) was the next milestone. Holly then took the role of North West (UK
and Ireland) training coordinator for InterContinental Hotel Group, training
their employees to become gym instructors as well as freelancing for the NHS
as a lifestyle consultant/ smoking cessation advisor.
In 2007 Holly was
sponsored by the Australian Department of Immigration to be a Safety and
First Aid trainer and assessor, educating the mining industry an array of
safety skills as well as working with St John's Ambulance Australia and the
Australian Royal Lifesaving Society. This job took her all over the West of
Oz, flying to all the mine sites and training all kinds of exciting skills
like working at heights and how to descend from a cherry picker!
Leading from this extensive history of
First Aid and Safety experiences, HK Safety and First Aid Training was born,
offering a wide variety of courses for all ages and abilities to enjoy!
