(4 Hour Course)

This course is designed to reduce the number of manual handling related incidents and injuries, and is recommended for any person who is required to lift, carry or move objects.

All delegates will enjoy this relaxed approach to learning, led by an experienced instructor who fully understands individual learning needs.

Course Content:

•     Current legislation, terms and definition

•     Risk assessment, Job Safety Analysis (J.S.A.) & Hazard reduction

•     Employer’s & Employee’s legal responsibilities

•     Warming up before manual handling

•     Practical session of correct pick up and set down procedures

•     Alternate methods of moving objects

All delegates who attend this manual handling course will be provided with a manual handling training pack, which will assist their understanding of the course content. This course can be tailored to meet your business needs.
